How ChartPaste handles your data.

ChartPaste is a free, browser-based chart maker. This page explains what happens to your data when you use it.

The data you paste

The table you paste is never sent to us. Parsing, chart drawing and file export all happen inside your browser. There is no account, no upload and no server-side storage of your data — close the tab and it is gone.

Information we do receive

• Server logs. Our hosting and CDN provider (Cloudflare) automatically records standard request information — such as IP address, browser user agent, requested URL and time — for security, abuse prevention and aggregate traffic statistics.
• Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you.
• Advertising data. If ads are shown on this site, Google may collect data as described below.

We do not ask for, and do not want, your name, address, phone number or payment details. There is nothing to sign up for.

Cookies and advertising

ChartPaste itself does not set cookies or use tracking scripts. Charts and data stay in memory in your browser.

When ads are served through Google AdSense, Google and its partners may place cookies or use similar technologies in order to:

• show ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites;
• limit how often you see the same ad;
• measure ad performance and prevent invalid activity.

You can control personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, opt out of participating vendors at aboutads.info, or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not stop the chart tool from working.

Third-party services

• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN and security. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Google AdSense — advertising, when ads are shown. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Your rights

Because we do not store your pasted data, there is usually nothing for us to export or delete. For server logs and any message you have sent us, you may ask us to access or delete what we hold — write to contact@chartpaste.com. We aim to reply within 30 days.

If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

ChartPaste is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Significant changes will be noted on the home page.
