Terms of Use

The rules for using ChartPaste.

These terms apply when you use ChartPaste (chartpaste.com). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The service

ChartPaste is a free tool that turns a pasted table into a chart and lets you download that chart as an image or as an Excel file. It runs in your browser. There is no account and no fee.

We may add, change or remove features at any time. We may also suspend the service, for example for maintenance or if it is being abused.

Your data and your content

• You keep ownership of the data you paste. We do not receive it and do not claim any rights over it.
• You are responsible for having the right to use the data you paste and to publish the charts you create from it.
• The charts, images and Excel files you download are yours to use.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the site for anything unlawful.
• Do not try to disrupt or overload the service, probe its infrastructure, or bypass its security.
• Do not scrape or mirror the site at scale, or resell it as your own.
• Do not use the site to publish content that is defamatory, infringing or harmful.

No warranty — check your charts

Charts are generated automatically from the data you paste, and some features make automatic decisions about your data — for example choosing a chart type, sorting values, or treating the last column as a total. These are best-effort and can be wrong.

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, including decisions made on the basis of a chart produced here.

Intellectual property

The site itself — its code, design, text and branding — belongs to its operator. These terms do not give you any right to reuse it beyond normal browsing and using the tool as intended.

Third-party services

The site is served through Cloudflare and may display advertising from Google. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms, and our Privacy Policy explains what data they receive.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
